In the parish of Kincumber we believe that Christian family includes ALL of the family. We do our best to make sure that kids are treasured and encouraged in our congregations and should never feel like they are being “babysat” while the parents are in church.
Our Parish has established a service, Se@K, to particularly cater to the needs of families. At Se@K everybody stays in for the beginning of the service, then normally after a kids talk and kids song, the children head out to their different age groups. We currently have Creche, Infants, Junior Primary and Senior Primary/Early High School classes meeting on Sunday evenings.
If you’d like to come regularly and want to enrol your kids into Sunday school, you can fill out a form on the night, or Download the form here
If you’d like to take a closer look at the 2016 Sunday School syllabus that we was used in Term 4, please see the following:
SE@K Infants: Term 4
SE@K lower Primary, St. Bede’s and St. Paul’s: kingship-term-4
SE@K Upper Primary: Term 4 – Two Ways to Live
At Kincumber’s 10am service and at Saratoga children stay in at the beginning of the service, then head out to Sunday school in the adjoining room.
We have a mothers group that meets regularly on Thursdays (with kids of a wide variety of ages). If you’d like more details, you can contact the office, or Lucy Wenzke on 0423 161 310
