Scripture across the Central Coast
We should continually thank God that New South Wales continues to see the teaching of Special Religious Education (SRE) as a healthy curriculum that should be available to children in our primary schools. Kincumber Anglican sees scripture teaching as a vital point of contact with children, affording us the opportunity to educate children about Christianity in a fun and thought-engaging manner.
In the greater Kincumber area, volunteers from Kincumber Anglican and a number of other local churches, having completed the required police checks and training, teach 42 classes in 6 different schools in our region. This is an opportunity to have face to face contact with hundreds of kids in our region.
