Family Funday Sunday

Sunday, December 11th was no usual Sunday for the SE@K evening service. This Sunday was a chance to throw the usual conventions out the window and do church in an entirely different way!

With a focus on Christmas, the congregation (made up of a number of regulars, some visitors from other services and some first-timers too!) took a closer look at the facts and myths surrounding Christmas as we played rounds of trivia, we thought a little more about the songs we sing at Christmas as we all joined in on a “sing-off” and we got to see a unique take on the Christmas story, watching a wonderful video created by the kids from a Church in New Zealand (I’ve attached it below)! Everything was topped off with a lovely dinner of Christmas ham and salads!

Amongst all of the fun and games, it was a wonderful evening to spend some time in warm fellowship, to laugh together, to think together and to build on the excitement that comes with this Advent season.

You can look at some of the pics from the night below. We’d love to have you at our next occasion!
