Funeral services in the Parish of Kincumber
If you have recently lost a loved one and would like to have a church funeral, all of our churches (barring SE@K, which meets in a Youth Centre) are available for funerals, including our historic St. Paul’s Church. The easiest way to organise a funeral at one of our churches it to contact your preferred funeral director and indicate which church you would like the service to be held in. At that time they will call us to confirm availabilities, then we will arrange a time to meet together and organise the particulars of the service. Our ministers are also available to take funeral services at non-church venues, such as Palmdale.
Please note: some funeral operators (particularly “White Lady” funerals) are unable to conduct funerals inside the the Historic Church because work health and safety regulations do not allow them to move caskets through the narrow entry. If your preferred funeral operator informs you that they cannot arrange a funeral at this venue, we are happy to organise a combined indoor/outdoor service, or hold the funeral at an alternate venue.
If you would like for your loved one to be buried in the Old St. Paul’s Cemetery, or have their ashes interred in the memorial wall, this is can also be arranged through the funeral operator, or, with the interring of ashes, through the parish office (4369 1204) after the cremation
