In this third talk in the series Yahweh sets Ezekiel apart from the exile to be their watchman, so as to warn the exiles when their enemies approached. But who were their enemies, now that they were surrounded by the Babylonians? And in what way might these enemies come against them? And how were the exiles to respond when Ezekiel sounded the alarm? And what would happen to Ezekiel if he failed to sound the alarm? These are some of the questions that are answered in this passage.
