In this talk we hear what happened when a rich and powerful and good man came to Jesus, asking: What must I do to inherit eternal life?  And yet he went away from Jesus sad, having been assured of no hope regarding his future. But then, if this is what happened to him, then what hope is there for us who are poor and powerless?
