Bible Text: Exodus 12.1-13 | Preacher: Allan Bate | Series: Bible Overview | In this talk Allan looks at how God chose to deliver his firstborn son, Israel, from their slavery in Egypt. This involved a battle between two opposing gods, the God of Israel and Pharaoh King of Egypt, a battle that would end with the one true God and LORD, of all the earth, being revealed in all His glory. However the battle would com to an end through the plague of the firstborn, when the one true God saved the firstborn sons of Israel through the offering of a substitute, namely the Passover Lamb.
