In the first talk in this series we begin by exploring Isaiah chapter 49 and what God says about a new servant to come, whose name is Israel. We then have a brief looks at Romans chapter 9 to 11 to see what Paul writes about the true Israel. Then we look at Jesus’ baptism and temptation, to see how Jesus, in a form, traced the steps of the original Israel.
