You would have thought that if Jesus died, in the way that He said He would, that His friends would have trusted Jesus when He told them that ‘on the third day he would rise from the dead.’ But No! For once again His friends were caught out through them not trusting Jesus. But, thankfully for them, they were given undeniable truth that Jesus was true to His word and that He could be trusted.
