As Jesus prepared to send out the 12, He was straight ups in telling them to expect to be persecuted – for He was sending them out as ‘Sheep amongst Wolves’. We live in a time when we are to continue to make disciples for Jesus, and as we do, we may also be opposed or even persecuted. So let us be ‘as cunning as snakes and pure as doves’, knowing when it is time to ‘shout from the roof tops’ that Jesus is Lord.
