This passage is one of the greatest hymns to Jesus in the New Testament. And yet this hymn is set in the context of how we, as Jesus’ disciples, are to have the same mindset that Jesus had, when He became obedient to death, even to death on a cross, in our relationships with one another. So this is a great reading and a great challenge to us!
